Your Role:

Your mission is to develop, pilot, and implement new curriculum for 1-on-1 and group meditation coaching sessions and guide the implementation across a large team of meditation coaches.

What you will do:

As Head Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and piloting new curriculum with students, supporting the training of a broad range of meditation and mindfulness teachers to deliver the curriculum. Some of your activities will include:

  • Develop and pilot new 1-on-1 and group coaching curriculum with students that will be later rolled out to the rest of the coaching teacher team
  • Create and execute training plans for meditation and mindfulness teachers, supporting their capabilities of offering programs on the live coaching platform.
  • Gather feedback from the teachers and students to run teacher-side research projects to help inform and shape the product. Communicating with teaching team to share learnings and liaising with the Coaching Team Leads to drive product enhancements
  • Foster a deep understanding of the company brand voice and support the teaching team on leading sessions in alignment with the brand voice
  • Teach occasional group coaching cohorts and 1-on-1 mentoring to be learning from and testing product
  • Develop a support infrastructure to foster a collaborative learning environment within the teaching team

What you will bring to the team:

  • Personal meditation experience: cultivated a deep meditation practice (>15yrs) and completed a meditation teacher training program from a highly reputable center
  • Experience: developed and taught curriculum for meditation programs (1-on-1, Groups, online courses, retreats, meditation teacher trainings) and has 10+ years working directly with students and groups on their mindfulness/meditation practice
  • Deep understanding of coaching: created or participated in a coaching practice, 1-on-1/group therapy session, or other self-improvement focused practice
  • Human-first approach: demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative learning environment with excellent relationship and communication skills and ability to deliver constructive feedback skillfully
  • Entrepreneurial approach: adaptable and creative problem solver with a test-and-iterate approach to the development of new products
  • Personal connection to mission: has a meditation practice and is connected to the meditation/mindfulness community in a greater way

Who you will work with:

You will report directly to Ben Einstein, President and COO.

You will work alongside Taylor Foley, Samuel Johns, Victoria Cary and Jess Morey.
